Director of Hockey Programs:
Ben Adams: 
Ben Adams has recently joined the Newington Arena Staff as the Director of
Hockey, encompassing all facets of programming and development.
Ben has worked with youth hockey programs in
Massachusetts
and with high school hockey in
Indiana. He began working with the Lazers as an
assistant coach and goalie coach at the Midget level in 2002-03, then with
the Junior B team in 2003-04. In the 2004-05 season, Ben advanced to NCAA
Division 1 Collegiate Hockey when he joined the coaching staff of
American
International
College
(AIC). In 2006-07, Ben continued with AIC as their strength and conditioning
coach. He also rejoined the Lazers as the bantam minor head coach and the
on-ice goalie coach for the organization. Ben is currently entering into his
third year as an assistant coach with the Central Connecticut State
University Blue Devils, participating in the American Collegiate Hockey
Association. He is also a consultant for the Western Mass Blades and a
member with the hockey project. Ben played youth hockey in
Massachusetts
and went on to play high school and juniors hockey. He also participated on
select international teams and competed at the professional level in Australia.
